If you're missing going to a weekly fluids seminar, we are pleased to
announce that a new series of fluid mechanics webinars is being
organised jointly by Leeds Institute for Fluid Dynamics, the Department
of Applied Mathematics & Theoretical Physics in Cambridge, the Journal
of Fluid Mechanics and UKFN. The first of these will take place at 16:00
BST ON FRIDAY 1ST MAY, when Christophe Clanet (LadHyX) will talk about

TOPIC: This webinar would be valuable for the FM community to see how
Fluids Mechanics Research and Aerosol science can work together to
better understand the current challenges we are all facing with the
coronavirus. TSI is somewhat unique having expertise is both FM and
Aerosol instrumentation. The webinar will address both the Aerosol
Science aspects and FM aspects of experimental measurements associated
with learning more about how the virus spreads and the instrumentation
that would be used to acquire that knowledge.
