<p>The UKFN competition for the best Fluid Mechanics-themed doctoral thesis of last year is now open. The winner will receive a prize of £500, and together with the two runners-up will be invited to present their work at this year's UK Fluids Conference in Cambridge (27-29 August 2019, <a href="http://ukfluids2019.bpi.cam.ac.uk/">http://ukfluids2019.bpi.cam.ac.uk/</a>).</p>
